Adeline worked as continuity girl on the film Walter’s Winning Ways (1921), which starred and was written by her husband Walter Forde. She edited the films Would You Believe It? (1929) and Red Pearls (1930), and was Assistant Director for The Last Hour (1930), all of which were directed by Walter Forde. In the 1940s, Adeline was the Associate Producer for a number of British films directed by her husband.

In the 1911 Census, Adeline is listed as an ‘assistant manufacturing chemist’ and is living as a boarder with a family in Derby.
