Secretary of the Film Society

Between March 1928-July 1929, Miss Harvey was employed by Sidney Bernstein to run specially-programmed Saturday morning cinema shows for children in four Granada cinemas located in Willesden, Enfield, Leytonstone and Edmonton. The performances were non-profit, and aimed to provide “clean, healthy entertainment” for children.
